A great career to Data Analyst fields

We are mid way in 2017 and we have been seeing some big changes in the business world. New forms of data analysis will be emerging to offer companies much more by way of Business Intelligence, operational guidance, and strategic market tactics. So what exactly will we see coming into play next year?

I know that the education system in India still follows once in a 10 year syllabus appraisal system and students still think that computer industry means C, C++, Java and .Net (in some colleges, in fact they still teach COBOL.

So ultimately they fall in love with these languages and feel disheartened if somebody asks them to work on something new. This is especially true for Data analytics & Business Intelligence as other IT work would have some amount of language programming (e.g. in Mobile/Web development etc.) but Data analytics & Business Intelligence is mostly playing with software tools at junior level .

Data analytics & Business Intelligence has been billed as the ‘most demanded job of the 21st Century’.  There is a huge shortage of people skilled in Analytics who can help corporate houses make the most of data that is being stored and generated at a frenetic pace.

Today business is all about prediction and statistics-driven business decisions. Banks use Business Analytics to detect fraud, companies forecast future trends, marketers use it to improve their results, and financers use it to analyze companies performance depending on software tools like SQL, ETL, and Excel. If you enjoy working in a field which is not only interesting but equally rewarding too, then Data analytics / Business Intelligence /BusinessAnalytics is 'THE' career for you.

More Power and Impact for Data Analysts:

One interesting change predicted for 2016 involves the Data analytics & Business Intelligence as a “rising star” in many industries- a company that helps to provide data visualization and data handling services for client companies. Talking about new changes for 2017, Data analytics people will be more a part of “impactful decisions” and will get more of a seat at the table.

Line of Business and IT People Coming Together

People looking at the modern operations of business offices are also seeing a lot of blurring of the boundaries between various types of roles and departments. For example, many expect further integration between IT and “line of business” or relatively un-tech-skilled users, which will make for more seamless processes and open up the use of data analytics to more people.

What is the future scope of the data analyst field in India?
